Cheyenne is a modern city and the seat of Wyoming government; it lies at the intersection of history, myth and legend.

The tours begin with tales from our railroad beginnings, departing from the historic Depot Buildings~ a National Landmark,  in the heart of downtown Cheyenne. The journey takes you through Cheyenne's historic districts, providing a fascinating glimpse of the areas western & railroad heritage. The trolley goes to the Wyoming State Capitol. It is said that the Depot and Capitol buildings face each other so they could keep an eye on each other! Today the Governor's seat is occupied by Matt Mead, but Wyoming was the first state to have a woman in that chair. You'll travel past many buildings and homes that once belonged to cattle barons when Cheyenne was the wealthiest city per capita in the nation.  It also takes you by steam engines #1242 Ole Sadie and #4004 Big Boy.

The weekday trolley tours operate as a loop tour, so if you choose to disembark at any of our great attractions along the way the trolley will be back by to pick you up. See the schedule for stops & times.
